Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for detecting a poor connection of in-vehicle electronic equipment, the method enabling to easily determine whether a problem occurred in the electronic equipment originates in the electronic equipment itself or due to a poor connection. [Solution] Provided is a method for detecting a poor connection in an electronic equipment 10 including a power storage unit 14 that provides electric power at least when power from a power source is interrupted, a storage unit 16, and a computing unit 18, the method characterized in that upon detecting a vehicle speed greater than or equal to a predetermined speed when a failure of the electronic equipment 10 is detected, the computing unit 18 performs a process of writing, into the storage unit 16, a log indicating that power from the power source has been cut off or interrupted.
