Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel method for staining a sperm head part with higher sensitivity and at lower cost compared with the conventional methods. More specifically, the present invention is a method for staining a sperm head part with a compound represented by formula (I) to visualize the sperm head part. (In formula (I), R1 represents one to four substituents on a benzene ring which are the same as or different from each other and each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; R2 represents one to four substituents on a benzene ring which are the same as or different from each other and each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; and R4 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group.)
