Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method for providing a service by using an ultra wide band (UWB) communication. The method for a first UWB device, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises the steps of: receiving a downlink time difference of arrival (DL-TDoA) message from at least one UWB anchor through a UWB channel; confirming on the basis of the DL-TDoA message that positioning of the first UWB device has failed; receiving a ranging message including position information about a second UWB device from the second UWB device; and measuring the position of the first UWB device on the basis of the DL-TDoA message and the position information about the second UWB device.
