Abstract:
According to an aspect disclosed herein, provided is a system and method for inspecting a main control valve, the system comprising: a guide rail for conveying an object that has a flow path and a groove formed on one side; an articulated robot disposed outside the guide rail and provided with a mount bracket at the end of an arm; a scanner unit that is mounted to the mount bracket and acquires scan data by scanning the outer surface of the object; a gauge unit mounted to the mount bracket and inserted into the flow path to acquire data on the inner diameter of the flow path; a data analysis unit for analyzing the scan data and the inner diameter data to calculate the depth of the groove and the inner diameter of the flow path; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the guide rail, the articulated robot, the scanner unit, and the gauge unit.
