Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for detecting an edge for diffraction of sound tracing, the method comprising: a sound propagation step of detecting collision triangles which collide with a ray departing from a sound source; and an edge detection step of calculating at least an edge-point on the basis of the collision triangles and performing an intersection-test on a test ray departing toward the at least edge-point on the basis of the sound source or a listener to determine whether diffraction occurs in the edge-point.
