Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2002/032604
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A method and a device for machining a spectacle lens capable of easily, accurately, and reproducibly machining a variety of globe lenses to form holes and grooves for installation of parts in the outer peripheral end face of a lens, wherein the specified position of the spectacle lens (100) is adjustably brought into contact with the reference surface of a positioning reference plate (300) by a spectacle lens fixing device (400) having a spectacle lens holding jig (110) used for globe polishing operation installed thereon and capable of fixing the spectacle lens (100) adjusting the position thereof, whereby the machined part of the spectacle lens (100) can be positioned so as to have a specified positional relation with the machining reference position of a machining device (200).
