Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for managing an instant communication application program, and a mobile terminal thereof. The method comprises the following steps: when an upper-layer application processor side of a mobile terminal is in a standby state, preventing an instant communication application program from sending a heartbeat packet to a network server through the upper-layer application processor side; and replacing the instant communication application program to send the heartbeat packet of the instant communication application program to the corresponding network server. The device comprises: a heartbeat packet sending prevention module which is configured to prevent the instant communication application program from sending the heartbeat packet to the network server through the upper-layer application processor side when the upper-layer application processor side of the mobile terminal is in the standby state; and a heartbeat packet sending replacement module which is configured to replace the instant communication application program to send the heartbeat packet of the instant communication application program to the corresponding network server. The method and device and the mobile terminal thereof can reduce the electric power consumption of the instant communication application program during standby.
