Abstract:
A method and device for matching an emergency number. An emergency number mapping table is preconfigured in a mobile terminal; the mobile terminal is registered to a communication network found after search, obtains a mobile country code (MCC) from public land mobile network information, and queries the emergency number mapping table according to the MCC to obtain an emergency number list matching the MCC; when the mobile terminal cannot be registered to the communication network, the mobile terminal obtains the MCC from public land mobile network information obtained by the mobile terminal in the last registration to a communication network; when the wireless communication function is not available, the mobile terminal determines, using a GPS module, the name of the country where the mobile terminal is currently located, and queries the emergency number mapping table according to the name of the country to obtain an MCC matching the name of the country, so as to obtain an emergency number list matching the MCC. The present invention ensures that a mobile terminal having a card can obtain an accurate MCC in any situations, so as to obtain an accurate emergency number matching the MCC, thereby ensuring that the mobile terminal can make an accurate call using the emergency number during international roaming.
