Abstract:
The present application provides a method and device for measuring channel quality. The method comprises: a network device configures a downlink carrier set for a terminal device; the network device carries a first parameter in first information, and the first parameter includes the number of repetitions for a downlink channel carrying the first information; the terminal device sends second information and third information to the network device; the second information includes information for indicating channel quality of a first downlink carrier; the third information is used for indicating that the channel quality of the first downlink carrier is related to the first parameter; or, the third information is used for indicating that the channel quality of the first downlink carrier is related to a second parameter, the second parameter includes the maximum number of repetitions for randomly accessed common search space on a second downlink carrier, and the downlink carrier set includes the second downlink carrier. The method for measuring channel quality applied by the embodiment of the present application contributes to saving power consumption of the terminal device and reducing the consumption of system resources.
