Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for operating an electric machine (12), especially for providing driving power for a drive train (10) of a motor vehicle, the electric machine (12) being controlled by means of a plurality of phase currents (lai, lbi, lci), said method comprising the following steps: detecting an electrical variable (lqi) representing the torque generated by the electric machine (12); and monitoring the torque (T). A degradation of the electrical machine (12) is taken into account during the monitoring of the torque (T).
