Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for preparing a lithium transition metal oxide. The method comprises the following steps: A) mixing a lithium salt and a transition metal compound, and performing preprocessing to obtain a precursor, wherein the preprocessing is performed at a temperature of 100-300℃ for a duration of 1-10 hours; B) precalcinating the precursor to obtain intermediates; and C) continuously feeding the intermediates to a feed inlet of a moving-bed reactor to undergo calcination, and obtaining a lithium transition metal oxide. In the invention, an additional preprocessing process is arranged before precalcination, and the preprocessing temperature and duration are further defined, thereby solving the problem in which compaction of a battery material occurs in a calcination process. The invention also combines a moving-bed reactor, such that gaseous and solid phases fully contact with each other, and the thickness of a filler material can be increased, thereby improving the production efficiency while greatly reducing oxygen consumption.
