Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to segment a blood vessel area in a medical image, and the method for determining a blood vessel area in a medical image may comprise the steps of: acquiring the medical image; segmenting the blood vessel area in the medical image so as to generate an initial segmentation result; detecting at least one end point of the blood vessel from the initial segmentation result; and restoring a missing blood vessel area on the basis of the at least one end point and a geometric property of the blood vessel.
