Abstract:

A method, device and system for paging a User Equipment are provided in the embodiments of the present invention, wherein the method for paging a User Equipment comprises the steps of: sending a downlink data notification message including paging range indication information to the control plane entity of Core Network; receiving a paging message including a paging range sent from the control plane entity of Core Network; and initiating a paging of a User Equipment corresponding to a user identification in the paging range. The device for paging a User Equipment comprises a first sending module, a first receiving module and a page initiating module. A system for paging a User Equipment is also provided in the embodiments of the present invention. With the method, device and system for paging a User Equipment, it is possible to implement the paging of User Equipments only in the predefined paging range.
