Abstract:
A method and a device for updating neighboring cell relations. The method, when used for combining the first cell among N cells and the other N-1 cells, comprises: the first cell sending an i-th hidden cell notification message to neighboring cells of the i-th cell which are not combined; the i-th hidden cell notification message being used for instructing to use the combined cells as neighboring cells and to use the i-th cell as the hidden cell; the first cell being the primary cell of the combined cells, i being an integer of 2 to N, and N being an integer greater than 1.
