Abstract:
The present application provides a method for DRX of an unlicensed frequency band and a terminal apparatus, capable of being applied to a scene that a terminal device performs communication by using a sidelink or a Uu link. A signal receiving end performs switching between a non-DRX mode and a DRX mode by monitoring a sidelink signal and/or a downlink signal on an unlicensed resource configured by a network device and under a condition that a particular preset condition is satisfied; or a sending end directly instructs the receiving end to use the DRX mode or the non-DRX mode, or the sending end indirectly instructs the receiving end to use the DRX mode or the non-DRX mode under the assistance of the network device, so that DRX of the receiving end can be implemented on the unlicensed frequency band of the sidelink or the Uu link, thereby saving the power consumption of the receiving end.
