Abstract:
Embodiments herein provide a method and system for online user authentication in low-end electronic device. The method includes establishing a secure logical channel between client`s electronic device and a server. The secure logical channel established between the server and the electronic device using the plurality of device-specific parameters and the plurality of server-specific parameters to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data exchanged between a user of the electronic device and the server. Further, the method includes authenticating a user of the electronic device using the established secure logical channel. Further, the method includes performing a payment data binding, a transaction authorization, a secure onboarding event of the electronic device, and a fingerprint-based transaction authorization on the established secure logical channel.
