Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for treating the alloy of the entirety or a portion of the dead area of a soldering bath of a wave brazing machine in order to entirely or partially remove the oxide slag formed in the machine bath, comprising: placing one or more porous injectors submerged in the soldering bath at said dead area, supplying the porous injector(s) with a treatment gas, in particular an inert or reducing gas, in order to generate gas bubbles in said bath in conditions enabling the bubbles to float to the surface of the soldering bath while driving the slag up to the surface and to burst at the surface of the bath, while generating a mechanical action on the layer made of slag and alloy at the surface.
