Abstract:
A method for generating a control parameter for use in a production device is provided, the method generating an appropriate control parameter. The method acquires measurement data representing a position from a sensor that measures the position of an object being driven. On the basis of the measurement data, evaluation index data representing the vibration of the object being driven after a time at which the object being driven reached an allowable position is generated. On the basis of the evaluation index data, the control parameter is updated using a machine learning model that learns the relationship between the evaluation index data and the control parameter. Time data indicating the time at which the vibration indicated by the evaluation index data exceeded a predetermined threshold value or the number of updates of the control parameter before the time is output to a display device. Once resumption of updating of the control parameter from the time or the number of updates is instructed, updating of the control parameter is resumed from the evaluation index data that has been generated before the time or the number of updates.
