Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for generating a CT image, the method making it possible to generate a CT image with higher precision in an X-ray examination device for irradiating an inspection subject with X-rays from an oblique direction, acquiring an X-ray image of the inspection subject, and generating a CT image on the basis of a plurality of the acquired X-ray images. [Solution] This method for generating a CT image is such that: in a sphere image acquisition step, a table 5 is rotated in a state in which an X-ray optical axis OA is inclined relative to a rotation central axis CR at an angle θ equal to the angle of inclination used when acquiring an X-ray image of an inspection subject, and an X-ray image of a sphere 22 is acquired for each given angle; in a trajectory specification step, a sphere center trajectory that is the trajectory of the center of the sphere 22 over one full rotation of the table 5 is specified on the basis of a plurality of X-ray images of of the sphere 22 as acquired in the sphere image acquisition step; and in a CT image generation step, a prescribed correction is made on the basis of the sphere center trajectory, and a CT image of the inspection subject is generated.
