Abstract:
The present invention shortens construction time, ensures freedom of design for cover members, and does not constrain the direction in which a circular tube extends. A first sheet is created, the first sheet having a planar shape or a radius of curvature greater than an inner diameter of a circular tube, and also having an elastic restoring force for restoring the radius of curvature or the planar shape (S1). The first sheet is wound and temporarily fixed onto a cylindrical packer that has a radius smaller than the inner diameter of the circular tube and that can be expanded in diameter in the radial direction (S3). A plurality of sheets are bonded together with an uncured first resin, to form a sheet laminate (S2). The sheet laminate is wound onto the first sheet, with an uncured second resin therebetween, to form a cover member, and the sheet laminate is temporarily fixed onto the packer (S4). The outer surface of the sheet laminate of the cover member is coated with an uncured third resin, and the packer is inserted into the circular tube (S5). The packer is expanded in diameter, the temporary fixation is released, and the cover member is pressed against the inner wall of the circular tube with the third resin therebetween (S6). The packer is pulled out from the circular tube (S7), and the resins are cured (S8).
