Abstract:
A method for low-carbon efficient extraction of high-purity SiO2 from high-silicon hematite tailings. The method comprises: preparing an ore pulp with a concentration of 20-80 kg/m3, adding a dispersing agent thereto, and subjecting same to ultrasonic dispersion for 1-4 min at a power of 70-200 W, so as to effectively disperse quartz and impurity particles; successively subjecting the ore pulp to weak and strong superconducting high-gradient magnetic separation; roasting a crude refined quartz powder resulting from magnetic separation at 700-900°C for 4-6 h, taking same out, and subjecting same to water quenching, so as to enable cracks to be generated on the surface of the quartz and impurity ions to be exposed on the surface; and subjecting the crude refined quartz powder resulting from water quenching to acid pickling twice, thereby obtaining high-purity SiO2 with an Si2 content of ≥99% after acid leaching. The method not only solves the problems of complex process flow, environmental pollution, high operation costs, etc., in the preparation of high-purity SiO2 in the prior art, but can also achieve high-value recycling of useful components in high-silicon hematite tailings; and the prepared high-purity SiO2 can effectively ameliorate the problem of there being a shortage of high-silicon quartz mineral resources in China.
