Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a method for manufacturing a 3D printed object wherein a powder layer and a solidified layer are alternately and repeatedly laminated by the steps of: (i) forming a solidified layer by irradiating a predetermined site of a powder layer with a light beam to sinter or melt and solidify the powder at the predetermined site; and (ii) forming a new powder layer on the obtained solidified layer and irradiating a predetermined site of the new powder layer with the light beam to form an additional solidified layer. In the present invention, a main beam having an irradiation energy density that allows a predetermined site of a powder layer and a solidified layer below the predetermined site to be melted and a sub-beam having an irradiation energy density that allows only the predetermined site to be melted are used as the light beam, and the predetermined site is irradiated with the sub-beam prior to the main beam.
