Abstract:
In the present invention, coal molded fuel for which degradation is suppressed is provided at low cost by a manufacturing method which includes: a molding step of molding coal particles to obtain a plate-shaped molded body that has briquette portions to which the shape of a molding die has been transferred and burr portions and that made by the briquette portions being connected by the burr portions, and a first intermediate molded body that includes a single briquette which is one briquette portion with the burr portions attached; a fragmenting step of fragmenting the first intermediate molded body and breaking the burr portions of the plate-shaped molded body in order to obtain a second intermediate molded body comprising the single briquette; and a grinding step of making the second intermediate molded bodies contact each other to grind the burr portions by friction to obtain the coal molded fuel.
