Abstract:

The present invention relates to the technical field of manufacturing mica insulating materials, and provides a method for manufacturing composite mica tape for use in an electrothermal smelting furnace body, comprising the following steps: (1) under the control of an adjustable-tension magnetic powder tensioner, unrolling a mica tape blank tape and material to be composited; (2) arranging the mica tape blank tape with the fibreglass cloth surface facing up, and coating organic silica gel solution on the fibreglass cloth surface; (3) after application of the gel, the mica tape blank tape enters an oven with a blanket conveyor belt; (4) after exiting the oven, the mica tape blank tape is rectified by a rectifying system, composited with the composite material, rolled by means of a transmission shaft and a pressure roller and wound into a rolled composite mica tape blank tape master roll; and (5) cutting the composite mica tape blank tape master roll to the required width to obtain a composite mica tape finished product. The composite mica tape manufactured by the method of the present invention provides an electrical insulation layer between the energised coil of an electrothermal smelting furnace and high-temperature molten metal; installation is simple and convenient, and the maintenance costs of the smelting furnace are reduced.
