Abstract:
A method for manufacturing an image display device according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a step for preparing a second substrate in which a semiconductor layer including a light-emitting layer is grown on a first substrate; a step for preparing a third substrate that includes a circuit having a circuit element formed on a transparent substrate, a first insulating film covering the circuit, and a conductive layer having a light-reflective part formed on the first insulating film; a step in which the semiconductor layer is bonded together with the third substrate; a step in which a light-emitting element is formed from the semiconductor layer; a step in which a second insulating film covering the conductive layer, the light-emitting element, and the first insulating film is formed; a step in which a via hole passing through the first insulating film and the second insulating film is formed; and a step in which the light-emitting element and the circuit element are electrically connected via the via hole.
