METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MOLDED MATERIAL

In the present invention, a molded material (1) having a cylindrical body (10) and a flange part (11) formed at the end of the body (10) is manufactured by carrying out multistage drawing on a material metal plate (3). The multistage drawing includes preliminary drawing for forming a preliminary body (20) having a body element (20a) from the material metal plate (2) and at least one compression drawing for forming the body part (10) by drawing the body element (20a) while applying a compressive force to the body element (20a) after carrying out the preliminary drawing. The at least one compression drawing is carried out such that the drawing is completed by the time a pad part for a compression means reaches bottom dead center, and while the body element is being drawn, a support force for supporting the pad part operates as compressive force on the body element. Thus, a method for manufacturing the molded material whereby the flange part becoming unnecessarily thick can be avoided and the weight of the molded material can be decreased is provided.
