Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a directional electromagnetic steel sheet with which it is possible to manufacture, in a stable manner, a low-iron-loss directional electromagnetic steel sheet with little variation in iron loss, using a tandem rolling mill. This method for manufacturing a directional electromagnetic steel sheet includes a step for: performing hot rolling on a steel material to produce a hot-rolled sheet; performing cold rolling once, or performing cold rolling at least twice with intermediate annealing being performed therebetween, to produce a cold-rolled sheet having the final sheet thickness; then performing decarburization annealing on the cold-rolled sheet and then performing secondary recrystallization annealing. The final cold rolling is performed using a tandem rolling mill. The final cold rolling is performed upon heating the hot-rolled sheet to a temperature range of 70-200°C (inclusive), then cooling the sheet to 60°C or below, and then introducing the sheet to the first pass of the tandem rolling mill.
