Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing pellets using biomass, in which the pellets of the patent disclosed by the present applicant are improved. The method comprises a series of processes in which biomass such as waste supplied from a process of manufacturing pellets is dried first and then cut; surface layers thereof, i.e., surfaces of the supplied waste are coated first by using waste oil; then sludge types of food waste, human excrement, livestock excrement, or the like are fed and mixed in a secondary mixing process, and then secondarily coated. Therefore, the surface layers of the waste are coated with the waste oil, asphalt oil, or the like through the primary and secondary coating, and also a coal catalyst or the like is mixed to increase coal combustibility, such that the effect of excellent combustion efficiency and a superior heating value can be expected. In addition, the primary coating is performed in a completely dried condition during a step of preparing the primary mixture, and the sludge types of food waste, human excrement, livestock excrement, or the like are introduced and mixed in the secondary mixing step so as to impart a certain degree of viscosity, and then the coating is performed by introducing a secondary coating material so as to coat surfaces of the corresponding secondary mixture again, so as to be able to obtain extruded pellets having excellent combustibility and exothermic characteristics.
