Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a treated fiber product, the method comprising a step for applying a water-repellent/oil-repellent compound to a fiber product by causing the fiber product to contact a treatment liquid containing the water-repellent/oil-repellent compound, the contact occurring in a treatment tank accommodating the treatment liquid, wherein the temperature of the treatment liquid is 2ºC to 35ºC. As a result of using this method, favorable water and oil repellency is imparted to the fiber product while maintaining excellent processing stability.
