Abstract:
A method of physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resource unit (PRU) selection for a user equipment (UE) in a random access procedure is disclosed. The method comprises receiving, from a base station (BS), a configuration to configure a preamble for the random access procedure and a plurality of PRUs corresponding to the preamble for a payload transmission of the random access procedure, determining a number of PRUs for the payload transmission according to one of an indication received from the BS and a number predefined in the UE, and selecting at least one PRU from the plurality of PRUs according to the determined number with at least one of a random selection, a criterion-based selection and a self-information based selection.
