Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing ginsenosides 20(S)-Rg3 or 20(S)-Rh2 by using a novel ginsenoside glycosidase, in order to obtain, with high efficiency, a highly pure ginsenoside 20(S)-Rg3 or 20(S)-Rh2. The preparation method of the present invention can safely and efficiently prepare a large quantity of 20(S)-Rg3 or 20(S)-Rh2, which is a rare ginsenoside in a minor form present in a trace amount in ginseng or a ginseng processed product, and, particularly, has a very simple process and very excellent preparation efficiency, thereby enabling mass production for an industrial use.
