Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a live attenuated vaccine by radiation and a live attenuated vaccine composition prepared thereby. More specifically, the present invention relates to: a method for preparing a live attenuated vaccine by radiation, the method comprising a step of repetitively irradiating a pathogenic microorganism 6 to 15 times with a single dose of 0.5 to 2 kGy; and a live attenuated vaccine composition comprising a pathogenic microorganism that is attenuated with at least one mutation of nucleotide addition and nucleotide deletion induced by radiation so as not to allow the attenuated pathogenic microorganism to be revertant to the wild-type.
