Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for preparing polyester resin used for powder coating in continuous process. The method comprises the steps of: in the presence of a catalyst, conducting alcoholysis reaction between polyethylene terephthalate and a diatomic alcohol whose boiling point is higher than that of glycol, thereby replacing the glycol out; further carrying out esterification reaction and polymerization reaction; finally adding trimellitic anhydride and a curing accelerator to adjust the reaction, so as to obtain an epoxy/polyester-mixed-type polyester resin used for powder coating; or adding a curing accelerator to adjust the reaction, so as to obtain a pure polyester-type polyester resin used for powder coating. The method can automatically control and on-line monitor each process section by means of automatically adjusting the flow rate, temperature, pressure and the like. The method can achieve the features of stable product quality, reduced possibilities of side reaction and overreaction, high equipment utilization ratio, low equipment investment, smaller production equipment, fewer number of personnel, low production cost and economizing energy resources.
