Abstract:
Provided is a method that is for producing 1-chloro-2,3,3-trifluoropropene, that can reduce the amount of propyne generated, and that provides an excellent conversion rate of 3-chloro-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoropropane as a raw material. The method for producing 1-chloro-2,3,3-trifluoropropene according to the present invention involves dehydrofluorinating 3-chloro-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoropropane in the presence of a phase transfer catalysis, an organic solvent having a dielectric constant of 30 or more, and a base.
