Abstract:
A method for producing 1,3-bisacyloxy-2-methylene propane, which is represented by general formula (II), by reacting a carboxylic acid represented by general formula (I), isobutylene and oxygen in a liquid phase while in the presence of a catalyst in which palladium and a transition metal from Group 11 of the periodic table are supported on a support, and also in the presence of a catalyst activation agent.
