Abstract:
An affixing member production device produces an affixing member in which a first member and a more flexible second member are affixed by a variable-viscosity affixing agent, the device being equipped with an affixing agent supply device for supplying the affixing agent to a first affixing surface or a second affixing surface, a viscosity-increasing device for increasing the viscosity of the affixing agent, and a load device for loading and deforming the second member against the affixing agent that is in close contact with the first affixing surface and that is harder than the second member. In a method for producing an affixing member the first affixing surface and the second affixing surface are brought close to each other so as to hold the affixing agent therebetween, the affixing agent is brought into close contact with a necessary portion of the first affixing surface, and the second member is loaded and deformed against the affixing agent that is in close contact with the first affixing surface and that is harder than the second member.
