Abstract:
The present invention is a method for producing a specific aromatic hydroxy compound, which comprises a step for having a specific aromatic compound (A) and a peroxide (C) react with each other by mixing the aromatic compound (A), at least one additive (B) that is selected from the group consisting of a hydrocarbon compound (b1), a ketone compound (b2) and an ester compound (b3), and the peroxide (C) with each other in the presence of a titanosilicate.
