Abstract:
A method for producing a blade component (11) for an optical fiber cutting device, the blade component (11) being provided with a diamond cutting blade (12) and a resin blade base (13) to which the base (12a) of the cutting blade (12) is affixed. The blade base (13) and an intermediate material (12') for the cutting blade (12) are integrally formed by insert molding using a resin, and after that, the intermediate material (12') is ground together with the blade base (13) to form the edge (12b) of the cutting blade (12).
