Abstract:
A method for producing a compound according to the present invention comprises a reaction step in which a specific compound is produced by subjecting a first halogen compound and a second halogen compound to a halogen exchange reaction in the presence of a solvent and a catalyst. The catalyst contains anhydrous aluminum halide. The first halogen compound contains at least one of a halogenated silane compound and a halogenated disilane compound. The second halogen compound and the specific compound form a first combination in which the second halogen compound contains an iodinating agent and the specific compound contains at least one of an iodosilane compound and an iododisilane compound, or a second combination in which the second halogen compound contains a brominating agent and the specific compound contains at least one of a bromosilane compound and a bromodisilane compound.
