Abstract:
According to the present invention, a core-shell catalyst having a high platinum mass activity is produced in a short time. A method for producing a core-shell catalyst that is provided with a core containing palladium and a shell containing platinum and covering the core, wherein: a copper-coated palladium-containing particle dispersion liquid, in which copper-coated palladium-containing particles that are obtained by having the surfaces of palladium-containing particles coated with copper are dispersed, a platinum ion-containing solution and a microreactor are prepared; and the copper-coated palladium-containing particle dispersion liquid and the platinum ion-containing solution are mixed with each other within the microreactor, so that the copper on the surfaces of the copper-coated palladium-containing particles is replaced with platinum, thereby forming the shell.
