Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING DRY CELLULOSE NANOFIBERS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/143150
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a method for producing dry cellulose nanofibers (CNF) having adequate redispersibility, and a method with which it is possible to improve the redispersibility of CNF. The present invention pertains to: a method for producing dry CNF, the method including mixing anion-modified CNF and a redispersibility-improving agent to obtain an aqueous suspension of anion-modified CNF, and drying the aqueous suspension to obtain dry CNF, the redispersibility-improving agent being a water-soluble nonionic surfactant; and a method for improving the redispersibility of CNF, the method including mixing anion-modified CNF and a redispersibility-improving agent to obtain an aqueous suspension of anion-modified CNF, and drying the aqueous suspension, the redispersibility-improving agent being a water-soluble nonionic surfactant.
