Abstract:
Provided are a method for producing an electromagnetic steel sheet having excellent magnetic characteristics, and a cold-rolled sheet used in the method. This method involves heating, at 1,300 °C or lower, a steel slab which contains, by mass%, 0-0.100% of C, 1.00-5.00% of Si, 0-1.00% of Mn, 0-0.02% of P, 0-2.00% of Al, 0-0.010% of N, 0-0.010% of S, 0-0.010% of Se, 0-0.100% of Ti, 0-0.100% of Nb, and 0-0.100% of V, and which further contains 0-0.200% of at least one among Sn and Sb in total, and hot-rolling the steel sheet to produce a hot-rolled sheet; performing hot-rolled-sheet-annealing on the hot-rolled sheet, and then cold-rolling the annealed hot-rolled sheet to produce a cold-rolled steel sheet having a final sheet thickness; and performing final-annealing on the cold-rolled steel sheet to produce an electromagnetic steel sheet. When the electromagnetic steel sheet is produced by the method, the difference in strain between the vicinity of grain boundaries and the inside of grains in the processed grains of the cold-rolled steel sheet is set to a predetermined value or more, so that crystal grains having a specific orientation emerge preferentially without impairing the grain growth properties of the recrystallized grains, thereby ensuring excellent magnetic properties.
