Abstract:

Disclosed is a method for producing an electrophotographic photosensitive body which has at least a surface layer containing a resin on a conductive supporting body. The method is characterized by having a step for forming a plurality of recessed portions in the surface layer by irradiating the surface layer with a laser light having such output characteristics as a wavelength of not more than 400 nm and a pulse width of not more than 100 ns.
