Abstract:

Provided is a method for producing a fluorinated organic compound by fluorinating an organic compound in the presence of a fluorination composition which contains IF5, iodine and an amine and in which the iodine is contained at a quantity of 0.12 moles or less relative to 1 mole of the IF5. This production method can synthesize a fluorinated organic compound with good efficiency.
