Abstract:
It is intended to provide a method whereby fullerene 1,3-dioxolane is conveniently produced at a high yield. Namely, fullerene 1,3-dioxolane is produced by reacting fullerene oxide with a carbonyl compound in the presence of a solid acid catalyst.
