Abstract:

A shift control device for a working vehicle having a stepped automatic transmission has a control device for controlling both the rotation speed of an engine and the stepped automatic transmission of the vehicle, a forward-reverse switchover member for outputting a forward-reverse switchover command of the working vehicle, and an operation amount detection device for detecting the amount of operation of an accelerator pedal of the working vehicle. When the forward-reverse switchover command is outputted by the forward-reverse switchover member, the control device performs forward-reverse switchover control of the stepped automatic transmission and controls the rotation speed of the engine so that the rotation speed is gradually reduced to a target lower limit value set such that a turbine runner of a torque converter of the working vehicle is not reversely rotated.
