Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for producing a member in a molten metal bath, wherein the method impedes the formation of pores and cracks in a sealing film and can suppress adhesion of an alloy such as dross. [Solution] A method for producing a molten metal bath member characterized by comprising the steps of coating or spraying, onto a cermet thermal-sprayed film formed on a substrate or an oxide ceramic thermal-sprayed film formed on a substrate, a mixed solution, which is prepared by adding primary aluminum phosphate and inorganic particles having a layered hexagonal crystal structure to a silica sol solution, as a sealing solution for the thermal-sprayed film; and firing the substrate.
