Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing an optically active isomer, the method including an asymmetry induction step in which an asymmetry-inducing agent is caused to act on chiral molecules having an enantiomeric-excess half-life period less than 10 hours, thereby heightening the proportion of one of the chiral-molecule enantiomers. According to the method, one of the enantiomers of chiral molecules which are apt to be racemized can be selectively and efficiently obtained.
