Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a resin foam board, which makes it possible to reduce easily the weight, efficiently make the size of bubbles substantially uniform, and improve the strength while using a physical foaming agent of an inactive gas. The method comprises a step of putting pellets P of a resin of an engineering plastic and/or a super engineering plastic into an extruder used for variable-shape extrusion molding, a step of heating and melting the resin to generate a molten resin M, a step of injecting a physical foaming agent of an inactive gas G into the molten resin M and mixing, and a step of extruding the molten resin (foamed resin material F) mixed with the inactive gas G from a die and foam-molding. The die 6 molds the molten resin mixed with the inactive gas into a plate shape having two or more holes extending substantially parallel to each other along the extrusion direction.
