Abstract:
In this method for producing a rotor (1) for an induction rotating electrical machine, a casting step and a shrink-fitting step are performed. In the casting step, a molten metal for forming a conductor (31) is cast in a plurality of slots (22) in a rotor core (2) formed by stacking electromagnetic steel sheets (20). In the shrink-fitting step, a shaft (4) having an external diameter larger than the internal diameter of a central hole (21) of the rotor core (2) is fitted into the central hole (21). When fitting said shaft (4), the shaft (4) is inserted into the central hole (21) while the internal diameter of the central hole (21) of the rotor core (2) is in a state of being larger than the external diameter of the shaft (4) as a result of heating in the casting step, and the rotor core (2) is subsequently cooled.
